For the love of Real Estate!
It is difficult for me to determine how or when this love affair began. I grew up in a small farming community in Eastern Washington, full of cookie cutter ramblers, painted some shade of white or beige, inside and out. One of my first jobs was working at the door and mill work company that my parents own. The delight in the beauty of detail work seemed to seep into my being.
It may have been during my travels from Cuba to Italy and beyond that I realized buildings and homes could be beautiful. The photos from those trips are mostly images of doors, roof lines and windows, full of color and character.
I began watching the Portland real estate market even before I moved here and in 2000 I made Portland my home while I received a degree in painting from Portland State University. I stayed because I fell in love with the city, the old homes, charming neighborhoods and familiar faces.
In 2002 I purchased my first home in NE Portland. A small Victorian built in 1894 filled with promise! After 5 years of hard work, it was restored to its original charm.
I am the mama of two little ones and I unwind at the end of each day by browsing the new additions to the MLS. It seems for me that being part of the Portland real estate market was meant to be. I decided to get my license for the love of real estate and I am excited to help people find a home that they can fall in love with.
Please call me with of your real estate needs and I will find you a home!
